IQOS & Terea

IQOS TEREA in the UAE

IQOS TEREA are tobacco sticks made only for IQOS ILUMA devices, which heat the tobacco from inside the stick instead of burning it. They are for adult tobacco users in the UAE who already use, or plan to buy, an ILUMA. Vape Shop Dubai sells TEREA cartons of 200 sticks from AED 120, along with ILUMA devices, and delivers across Dubai in 1–3 hours.

Which IQOS devices work with TEREA sticks?

TEREA sticks work only in the IQOS ILUMA family: ILUMA ONE, ILUMA, ILUMA Prime and the newer ILUMA i models. They do not work in older IQOS Originals devices, and ILUMA does not take HEETS. IQOS warns that using TEREA in an IQOS Originals device may damage it.

That warning comes from IQOS UAE. If you are buying your first device, the NEW IQOS ILUMA ONE KIT is an all-in-one device that runs up to 20 sessions per charge. The IQOS ILUMA STANDARD DEVICE splits into a holder and a pocket charger, which gives 2 back-to-back sessions before the holder needs a top-up.

Both devices come in Pebble Grey, Pebble Beige, Azure Blue, Moss Green and Sunset Red. Each session lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, according to the product specs.

What is the difference between TEREA from Indonesia, Japan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan?

TEREA is made for different national markets, and each edition carries its own flavour line-up and packaging. All editions use the same stick format and fit every ILUMA device. The main differences for a buyer are the flavours on offer and the price: the Japan edition costs AED 64–79 more per carton than the others.

The IQOS TEREA Indonesia Flavors listing has the widest choice we stock, with 12 flavours including Bronze, Sienna, Green and the Dimensions range. The IQOS TEREA Japan Sticks for ILUMA lean towards menthol, with 20 variants such as Tropical Menthol, Black Menthol and Smooth Regular.

How much does one TEREA stick cost?

At Vape Shop Dubai, a TEREA stick costs AED 0.60–1.00, depending on the edition. The Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan cartons all work out to AED 0.60–0.68 a stick. The Japan edition costs about AED 1.00 a stick, the same as a UAE-market carton at the official IQOS price.

We worked this out from our September 2026 carton prices, with 200 sticks in every carton. The Terea Kyrgyzstan carton is AED 124, or 62 fils a stick. The IQOS TEREA Uzbekistan Sticks carton is AED 125, or about 63 fils.

The official UAE price of AED 20 a pack and AED 200 a carton comes from IQOS UAE.

Five TEREA flavours, from strongest to lightest

This list runs from the richest tobacco taste down to the lightest, cooling blends. All five are Indonesia-edition cartons of 200 sticks at AED 135 each, as of September 2026. Use it to choose a starting flavour, then try the Japan or Kyrgyzstan editions for more menthol options.

1. TEREA Bronze Indonesia: rich roasted tobacco with smooth, smoky notes. No menthol.
2. TEREA Sienna Indonesia: roasted tobacco at medium intensity. No menthol.
3. TEREA Dimensions Yugen Indonesia: a mild, balanced tobacco with subtle aromatic depth. No menthol.
4. TEREA Oasis Pearl Indonesia: mild tobacco with a cooling finish.
5. TEREA Green Indonesia: light and crisp, with herbal and gentle cooling notes.

TEREA and ILUMA questions

Can I use HEETS in an IQOS ILUMA?
No. ILUMA devices take TEREA sticks only. HEETS are made for older IQOS devices.

How many puffs are in one TEREA stick?
About 14 puffs, or up to 6 minutes, per stick, according to the ILUMA product specs.

Do I need to clean an ILUMA?
No blade cleaning is needed. ILUMA heats from inside the stick, so there is no heating blade to clean.

Can I get a TEREA carton delivered today?
In Dubai, yes: eligible orders placed before 7 PM arrive within 1–3 hours. Sharjah orders placed before 6 PM arrive the same day. Other emirates receive orders the next working day.
